ESP Alexi Laiho Signature Ripped - Purple Fade Satin With Ripped Pinstripes
Created by hand, one at a time by the artisans of the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the ESP Alexi Ripped at Sound Centre is the identical model designed and played by one of the most beloved and influential figures in metal music: Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight.
The ESP Alexi Hexed is offered in an offset V shape with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale. It features a three-piece thin u-shaped maple neck with natural satin finish for smooth and fast playability, alder body wings, and an ebony fingerboard (scalloped from frets 19-24) with 24 extra-jumbo frets, sawtooth inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers.
The Alexi Ripped model is the first Alexi Laiho Signature Series guitar with more than one pickup. It includes an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position, a ceramic high-gain pickup that offers excellent presence and clarity with a punchy response, as well as an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single coil in the neck for just the right mix of mids with a clear and full low end.
It also includes an ESP MM-04 active boost switch, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ settings and up to +18dB of boost when you need it!
ust like Alexi’s personal instrument, the E-II Alexi Ripped includes high-end components such as Gotoh locking tuners, ESP strap locks, a double-locking Floyd Rose Original bridge, and chrome hardware including a volume control, an inset three-way pickup selector, and boost switch.
Available in Purple Fade Satin finish with painted black satin “ripped” pinstripes, with black satin back and sides.
Includes deluxe ESP hardshell case.

Sound Centre was established in 1986 by a group of Western Australian musicians who wanted to provide a music store that would understand and cater to the needs of other musicians.
