Electro-Voice ND68 Dynamic Supercardioid Bass Drum Microphone
The Electro-Voice ND68 is a powerful, high-quality dynamic supercardioid kick drum and low-frequency instrument microphone. Its supercardioid polar pattern offers great acoustic isolation from nearby instruments, with voicing characteristics for a deep low end, eased mid, and crisp top-end punctuation.
Its dynamic capsule holds a large Mylar diaphragm for an even, detailed frequency response, while the humbucking coil guards against AC hum and electromagnetic interference. It handles up to 144 dB SPL for close micing of loud sound sources, and its Memraflex grille is durable enough to withstand rough use. An internal hydrophobic cloth membrane keeps moisture and particles from reaching the diaphragm.
