Blackstar Dept 10. Amped 1 - 100 Watt Amp Pedal With Cab Sim And Reverb
Providing the modern day guitarist with a portable amplifier in a pedal format that's suitable for jamming, recording, headphone practice, gigging and more - allow us to introduce you to the Dept. 10 Amped 1 Amplifier Pedal from Blackstar Amplification at Sound Centre!
Boasting 100 watts of power (selectable between 1, 20 or 100) which can go straight out into a speaker cabinet of your choosing via 8 or 16 Ohm outputs - the Amped 1 serves as the perfect platform to build your rig on in a super compact format that weights in at just under 1.3kg.
Not looking to make noise via a speaker cab or want to expand your options? You can also make use of a balanced XLR output to go straight into a mixer/recording interface or even plug in some headphones via a dedicated 1/4" output to do some headphone practice. What's more, select between 1 of 3 loadable Blackstar Cab Rig cabinet simulators to get yourself some seriously impressive, DSP fuelled power.
Once you've figured out how you'll be making your noise, you can begin to craft and sculpt your tone to your hearts content.
Outside of regular Gain, 3-Way EQ (Treble, Middle and Bass) and Master Volume controls - you also have access to a Reverb control (footswitchable with Freeze function), Preset switch and, most importantly, controls for Voice (USA, UK or Flat) as well as Response (KT88, 6L6, EL34, 6V6, EL84 and LINEAR) to really dial in both the tone, feel and response you're looking for.
Wondering what the Flat Voice and LINEAR Response is for? If you're using your own separate modeler or preamp for example, at these settings the Amped 1 also serves as a blank canvas for you to amplify your tone with plenty of headroom.
Connect to Blackstar's Architect software via USB (cable included) to design and upload your own Cab Rig setting, set the included Effects Loop (dual Send/Return cable also included) to Series/Parallel and even control Reverb parameters.
Other great features include a universal power supply (100V to 240V ~ 50/60Hz via included IEC/kettle cord), 3.5mm MIDI In with included adaptor and x2 9V DC outputs to provide power to pedals at a maximum combined current of 500mA.

About the Sound Centre
Sound Centre was established in 1986 by a group of Western Australian musicians who wanted to provide a music store that would understand and cater to the needs of other musicians. From humble beginnings as a small shop and a few rehearsal rooms, Sound Centre has grown into Perth’s most extensive music store in terms of space, instrument range and musical expertise.
